About
Debra S. Gavant is a theoretical physicist and founder of the DPΦ Initiative, an independent research program developing Dynamic Present Theory (DPΦ), a mathematical framework proposing that reality emerges through continuous actualization under lawful constraint.
Gavant has developed DPΦ from foundational principles into a testable framework with empirical validations across multiple domains, including glass transition physics (achieving statistical parity with the Vogel-Fulcher-Tammann equation), cosmology (resolving the Hubble tension with >10σ statistical significance), and AI coherence scaling.
Her work bridges physics, mathematics, and complex systems theory, exploring how constraint dynamics govern phenomena from material phase transitions to information processing in biological and artificial systems. Current research extends the framework to additional empirical domains.
Gavant holds patents pending on AI architecture mechanisms and collaborates with physicists and researchers internationally. Her work is available on arXiv and Zenodo, with peer-reviewed publication forthcoming.
She is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
